Delete your Spell7 account

Spell7 is made by Habitual Learners, LLC. You can delete your Spell7 account yourself, in the app or on the website, or ask us to delete it.

Delete it yourself

1. Sign in at spell7.com, or open the Spell7 app, with the adult account’s email address.
2. Open Settings.
3. Under Danger, tap Delete account, then Delete everything.

If you are signed in on a device a speller shares, we first email you a link to confirm it is you.

Ask us to delete it

Write to privacy@spell7.com from the account’s email address and ask us to delete it. We will confirm when it is done.

Delete one speller

To delete a speller and keep your own account, open the Spellers page from the adult account and delete the speller there.

What is deleted

Deleting an adult account deletes, straight away and for good:

• the account, its email address, name and settings;
• every speller in the household, with their names, grades and email addresses;
• every word attempt, streak, sandcastle and missed-word list;
• the sign-in for each of these accounts;
• the devices registered for reminders;
• any Spell7 Unlimited subscription, which ends at once.

What is kept

• Usage and session records, which carry only an account identifier that no longer connects to any name or email address.
• Billing records at Stripe, for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
• Error reports, until Sentry deletes them, within 90 days.
• Support emails you sent us, in our inbox.
